The Youth and Sports Minister, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah has commended the director of Altmate Construction, Mr. Samuel Mensah who is in charge of the construction of the Nyinahyin Sports Complex.
The minister commended the contractor for a good work done so far on the Nyinahyin multipurpose complex during his second inspection tour on the project.
The minister said he is overwhelmed with how the contractor has turned the challenges he encountered at the beginning of the construction, to a golden opportunity.
He explained that, during his first visit to cut sod for the construction of the multipurpose centre, he realized that the contractor will face huge challenges but he is excited for how innovative the contractor has been, to an extent of constructing a hostile facility that can accommodate over 70 people, which was not even part of the plan for the multipurpose centre.
Hon. Asiamah also expressed his delight in the job creation that the constructing of the multipurpose centre is offering the youth and added that the government want to use sports as a tool to create more jobs and crime prevention.
