The Youth and Sports Minister, Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah has congratulated the protocol officer, Madam Dinah Boateng and the records supervisor, Mr. Edward K. Boamah all at the Ministry for receiving an honorary awards.
The duo were honoured in the Nathan Anang Quao Awards held at the CLOGSAG National Secretariat in Accra on Tuesday July 23, 2019.
Mrs. Diana Boateng who is the Protocol Officer at the Sports Ministry, was one of the only three persons who rejected a bribe from Ghanaian ace undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas during his ‘Number 12’ expose video which uncovered the rottenness in Ghana and African football.
The two were however honoured with ‘Loyalty’ and ‘Integrity’ awards respectively for their excellence in discharging their duties.
“I congratulate Mrs. Dinah Boateng (Protocol Officer) and Mr. Edward K. Boamah (Records Supervisor) with my outfit for scooping the Nathan Anang Quao “Loyalty” and “Integrity” awards respectively.
“I hope this accolade inspires personnel in the Civil Service to reach such heights of excellence in the discharge of their duties.
