The Youth and Sports Minister, Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah has congratulated the Black Stars for a dazzling win over Guinea-Bissau yesterday.
Ghana managed to secure a qualification to the next round in the AFCON after smashing the Guineans 2:0 at the Suez Stadium courtesy goals from Jordan Ayew and Thomas Teye Partey.
The sector minister who was optimistic Ghana will wallop Guinea-Bissau to book a qualification to the knockout stage has heaped praises on the technical handlers as well as the playing body for the sounding victory.
“On behalf of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the good people of Ghana, I would like to congratulate the Black Stars for an emphatic win against Guinea-Bissau to top the pile and qualify for the knockout stages.”
Meanwhile, the nine times AFCON finalist will face North African giant Tunisia in the round sixteen stage scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Ismailia Stadium.
