The Youth and Sports Minister Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah inspected the progress of work currently ongoing at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Sector Minister has begun unannounced inspection of the various state-owned stadia currently undergoing a facelift in the country.

He recently visited the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to ascertain the progress of works ongoing at the edifice and today visited the Accra Sports Stadium to inspect the last phase of the renovation works.
Because it was an unannounced visit, only the staff of the National Sports Authority and the Contractor in charge of the project were present for the inspection.
Aside the Accra and the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, there is also renovation works ongoing at the Sekondi Sports Stadium in the Western Region.
