The Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has wished both Asante Kotoko and Ashgold Sporting Club well ahead of their Africa campaign this weekend.
Asante Kotoko will lock horns with Tunisian giant, Etoile du Sahel in the first-leg of the last qualifying round of the CAF Champions League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, September 15 before the reverse game in Tunisia.

Ashgold Sporting Club on the other hand, will face Moroccan giant RS Berkane in the first-leg of the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday, September 14 at the Lenclay Sports Stadium in Obuasi.
According to the sector minister, both Asante Kotoko and Ashgold Sporting Club will sail through and make Ghana proud in the Africa.

His goodwill message reads “I am wishing our two teams who are engaged in the continental assignments, Asante Kotoko and Ashgold well in their respective encounters this weekend.
“Kotoko plays Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in a CAF Championship encounter, while Ashgold welcomes a Moroccan side RSB Berkane in a CAF Confederation Cup.
“I call on Ghanaians to rally behind the two teams by trooping to the centres, Baba Yara Stadium and the Len Clay Stadium to give them the maximum support to ensure total victories.
“I am confident that our two top clubs will sail through to the next stages of their assignments.
“I will like to assure them that the Ministry will support them to get to the finals and move on to annex the trophies for the country.
