The Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has visited the camps of the National Supporters Union in Egypt.
The Minister’s visit was to primarily familiarize and acquaint himself with the supporters since they arrived and to ensure that there are no challenges during their stay in the country.
Hon. Isaac Asiamah urged the supporters not be worried about the team’s poor start to the competition and urged them to rally behind the team as they take on Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday in the last group game.
He was confident that Ghana will surely beat Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday to secure next round qualification.
The Minister also interacted with some media personnel who have come to provide coverage of the tournament to Ghanaians back home.
Present at the meeting was the National Sports Authority (NSA) Board Chairman Honourable Kwadwo Baah Agyemang , Spokesperson of the Ministry and the GFA Normalization Committee, Elvis Adjei-Baah and Dan Kwaku Yeboah respectively, a patron of the National Supporters Union, Aziz Haruna Futah among others.
