The Youth and Sports minister, Hon.Isaac Asiamah has arranged to meet injured black Princesses prolific attacker Sandra Owusu Ansah in a move to assist the injured national star to have her surgery.
Sandra Owusu Ansah sustained a knee injury during the 2014 FIFA U-17 women’s world cup in Costa Rica which Ghana exited at the quarter final stage.
Despite her injury, Sandra was a member of the Black Maidens team that represented Ghana at the 2016 FIFA World Cup in Jordan, and went ahead to captained the national U-20 team the Black Princesses at the FIFA World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
An earlier media publications, suggested, Sandra has been neglected regarding treatment of her half a decade old injury which the team doctor has refuted.
A grapevine source within the corridors of the sports ministry has revealed that the sector minister will meet the national star over a possible release of the needed funds for her surgery.
