St.John’s School defeated seeded Archbishop Porter Girl’s Senior High School and Tamale Islamic Science to book a slot in the next stage of the National Science and Maths Quiz.
The Green shirted represented by Mensah Clinton Aboagye and Banini Emmanuel Asiwome were two strong for their competitors leaving Archbishop Porter Girl’s SHS 16 points behind and Tamale Islamic in second place 4 points adrift of the winning 38 points.
St. John’s School peaked right from the start and used the initial two rounds to open up the contest.
The contest for this round will not have a place for the best second placed school.
