The Western Regional Deputy Minister Hon. Gifty Eugenia Kusi has warned fraudsters to desist from using her name to dupe people on Facebook.
According to the Deputy Minister, people have started using her name to defraud people on the pretext of giving them jobs.

In an interview with Accra based Peace FM, Hon. Gifty Eugenia Kusi uttered that she has never asked anyone on Facebook to give her money in return of offering jobs and those people asking for money are fraudsters , so Ghanaians should be mindful of that.
“The fraudsters demand an amount ranging between GHS 500 to GHS 1000 in my name, promising to find jobs for the victims AT COCOBOD and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), she said.

She however entreats the general public to be mindful of such cases should anyone get contacted by those fraudsters and even report them to the nearest police station.
