The Omahene of Lower Dixcove in the Ahanta West of the Western Region, Nana Kwesi Agyemang IX has told the NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to desist from visiting them at night.
According to the Chief, Mr. Mahama is fond of visiting them at night especially during campaign seasons.

Mr. Mahama and his entourage scheduled to visit the traditional leaders of the town in daylight but due to some circumstances, they arrived at the place at 7:00PM on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
Speaking on behalf of the chiefs in the area, Nana Kwesi Agyemang IX implored the former president to visit them in daylight for the community to organize a proper durbar to welcome him.

“The chief and all the people here want you know that, anytime you decide to come back to this community, it should never be at the night again. You should come at daylight so that everybody here will see your face”

“This is not the first time, all the time you have visited, you come at only in the night and when it happens like that, we are unable to give you the needed welcome. Regional Chairman, when next he comes here please let him come in the day, so that we can organize a proper durbar to welcome him”. Nana Kwesi Agyemang IX told John Mahama right in the face.
On his part, John Mahama apologized and promised to visit them in daylight next time.
