Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo wants to return to the Premier League next season, it has been sensationally revealed.
And the Manchester United hero favours living and playing in London.
Le 10 Sport says Ronaldo has decided to leave Real at the end of this campaign and instructed agent Jorge Mendes to find him a club in London. Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been contacted.
However, Mendes has also urged Ronaldo to consider a location beyond London, knowing PSG would be happy to welcome him, while there’s other Premier League clubs further north interested. United, however, won’t be in the running, with Ronaldo reluctant to play for former Real coach Jose Mourinho.
Adding fuel to the fire is news earlier this season that Ronaldo has been interviewing schools in London for his son Cristiano Jr. His representatives are also known to have conducted some house-hunting in Surrey.
The Portuguese turned 33 last week, but feels he still has several years at the top in Europe before considering a career swansong in China.
A fee in the region of €150m has been mentioned – though Ronaldo will demand president Florentino Perez keep his asking price affordable due to long service and the success he has brought to the club.
