Sukummu FC have been crowned the champions of the Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang Xmas gala held at the Russia Park in Agogo in the Asante Akyem North district of the Ashanti Region.

The champions had to show enough muscles to defeat Hwidiem FC 2:0 in the most scintillating grand finale.
The final game regarded as the battle of Asante Akyem North football, saw the Russia Park and the entire Agogo community in a standstill as spectators trooped to the match center in their numbers to cheer their various communities up for the glory.
Sukummu FC who were the champions of the eight communities football gala, took home the giant trophy, medals, jerseys, footballs and a cash prize of $200.
The runners up had silver medals and pocketed a sum of $100 among others.
Sukummu FC talented netminder Gabriel Alhassan was adjudged the best goalkeeper of the competition and went home with a pair of goalkeeper’s gloves whilst Prince Adu Poku was given a brand new football for emerging as the most promising player.

The topscorer award went to Obeng Darko whilst Fobi Aggrey was named the most valuable player of the competition. They were presented with brand new soccer boots and trophy respectively.
On January 1, 2020, the Select Side from the competition will face off Ghana Premier League outfit Dreams FC in a friendly, where the Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku will grace the event.
