The Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Amoako has confirmed that the first leg Super clash of the game between Accra Hearts of oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi recorded Ghc 75,000 gross.
Speaking to Kumasi based Radio Station Oyerepa Fm on the attendance of the fans at the stadium, he said
” We grossed about 75,000, it wasn’t what we were expecting but for the first time we will make do with it. I am not sure Kotoko will even get Ghc 25,000 after deductions”
” From my experience, we had about 10,000 to 15,000 spectators at the stadium. I hope it will improve in the second leg come Sunday.
Asante Kotoko defeated their arc-rivals Hearts of oak 2-0 in the first leg of the two- legged Super Clash with Burkinabe international Songne Yacouba getting a brace for the Porcupine Worriers.
The second leg will be played at the same venue on Sunday 2nd September, 2018.
