Former President, John Dramani Mahama has called on President Akufo-Addo to take full responsibility for the prevailing economic challenges facing the country.[ads2]
According to Mr Mahama, during his tenure as the president, he accepted the energy crisis which was facing the country even though it was not his fault and expect President Akufo-Addo to do same as Ghana is currently facing serious economic challenges.
“They don’t listen to advice, they don’t accept their mistake and so they are not able to learn from their mistakes. Still, they are not accepting responsibility for the woes of the Cedi”, Mr Mahama said during a campaign tour and interaction with delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Awutu Senya in the Central Region on Tuesday, March 27, 2023.[ads3]
“I didn’t cause the energy crisis, it was caused by a lack of generational addiction for many years but I went to Parliament and took responsibility for it and said I would fix it.That is what leadership is about but this is a president who can’t take responsibility”, he added…[ads4]
