The Police have arrested one hundred and thirty-eight (138) unlicensed motorbike riders in the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolise.
Out of the 138 riders that were arrested by the police, 18 have been released after being found not guilty whereas 59 have been processed for court.[ads2]
This was made known on Connect FM in Takoradi by the Western Regional Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate boss, Superintendent Sorkpah.[ads3]
He added that 22 out of the 59 have been fined a sum of Gh¢5,280.00..
