Police in Takoradi have arrested a young man who attempted to end the life of the Western regional Minister, Hon. Kobby Okyere Darko Mensah.
According to reports in the media, the young man, whose name is still not yet received at the time of reporting, was arrested earlier this morning at the residence of the minister who double as the Member of Parliament for Takoradi.
Report says, the young man attempted to end the life of the minister at his residence in Beach road, Takoradi but was out-powered during the struggle.
The young man is currently at the custody of the Harbour Police Station in Takoradi and report says the minister is doing well as at the time of reporting.
