Takoradi Technical University has announced that it will be hosting the first Annual Sports Awards on August 5, 2023.
This highly anticipated event aims to celebrate and recognize the exceptional achievements and contributions made by individuals and teams within the university community in the field of sports.
The maiden Annual Sports Awards will serve as a platform to honor athletes, coaches, and staff members who have demonstrated outstanding performance, sportsmanship, and dedication in their respective disciplines. It will also acknowledge the unwavering support and commitment of external entities in fostering a culture of excellence in sports at Takoradi Technical University.
TTU’s participation in various sports events has been commendable, showcasing the university’s commitment to athletic excellence. The Annual Sports Awards will serve as a platform to celebrate and honor the dedication, hard work, and achievements of athletes, coaches, and support staff, particularly in the last Ghana Technical University GAMES IN Tamale.

Giving a hint of the Awards, the Chairman of the Sports Committee told kyfilla.com that the Awards is part if initiatives to recognize and deepen partnerships with corporate entities and the local community.
The event will feature various award categories, including the prestigious Personality of the Year (Men and Women), Team of the Year, Athlete of the Year, Footballer of the Year, Basketball Player of the Year, and many more.
