Two persons have been pronounced dead while three others have been badly injured in a fatal car accident that occurred on the Anaji-Nkroful highway close to the Queen of Peace School on Sunday.
An eyewitness, who was very close to the incident, accounted to Kyfilla.com that ” the white Pontiac Vibe car was heading towards Nkroful from Anaji when the driver suddenly swerved to the other side of the road and collided with the taxi which was heading to Anaji from Nkroful”.
Reports indicate that, the driver of the Pontiac car identified as Nathaniel Hammond and the daughter of the taxi driver have joined the heavenly choir on arrival at the hospital.
Also the taxi driver and his other daughter alongside a lady who was sitting in the Pontiac car with Hammond are currently battling for their lives at the Effia Nkwanta teaching hospital in Sekondi. Kyfilla.com understands, they are currently responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, the Police have cleared the road to be use by other vehicles and have also commenced investigations to find out the cause of the tragic accident.
