Goldstars were beaten 2:1 by Wassaman United in Kumasi in week six of the ongoing division one league yesterday.
After the game, coach Kwabena Amissah believes his tactics didn’t work to perfection as expected and therefore his players shouldn’t be blamed for the painful defeat.
“I take the full responsibility for our defeat to Wassaman. My players shouldn’t be blamed for the defeat, it was a technical error committed by myself”, Kwabena Amissah said.

” I appreciate the fact that, the league is still young and we’re going to work hard to bring back smiles on the faces of the supporters. It was indeed a painful result because lots were expected from us, it was a big technical error on my part as the head coach”, he concluded.
Despite their defeat to Wassaman, Goldstars FC still remain top of the zone two table with 13 points after 6 matches whilst Wassaman United place 4th on the league log with 12 points.
