Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Art, Hon.Lawyer Barbara Oteng Gyasi(Mrs.) has advised Ghanaian female artistes to tell positive stories about women in their songs rather than throwing insults at each other.
Her comment comes following the lyrical banter (beef) between three Ghanaian female artistes Eno Barony, Sista Afia and Freda Rhymes which has led to Sista Afia and Freda Rhymes attempting to fight in public.
Speaking on Joy Showbiz Prime, the Prestea Huni-Valley legislator believe that though it show business, the Ghanaian female artistes should rather focus on projecting themselves positively to impact the younger generation.
“We should be conversant about our cultural background and the fact that we are women and are expected to project ourselves in a certain way to impact our younger generation.
“So our female artistes, I will plead with them that there are many ways to project yourselves positively and still make the impact you want to in the industry.
