Ten Burkina Faso nationals have been arrested for entering Ghana illegally.
The ten Burkinabes upon a tip-off were arrested by the Vigilante Immigration Officials in the Lawra Sector Command.

According to reports, the ten Burkinabes used unapproved routes to sneak to Ghana since all Ghana’s borders have been closed.
The ten were on their way to Sunyani to engage in farming and trading activities. They were made up of nine males and a female.

They were later screened by health officials and referred to the Hamile sector command for repatriation to Burkina Faso.
