Kumasi Asante Kotoko experienced midfielder, Jordan Opoku has attributed the team’s inconsistent performance in the Ghana Premier League of late as lack of team spirit.
According to the veteran footballer, the zeal to play for the team has dwindled down and it a pity for a club like Asante Kotoko to be going through such difficulties but believes with time the team will bounce back to winning ways.
“The spirit of Asante Kotoko is down and will need time to revive. It very sad for a team like Kotoko to be going through such difficulties and we [the players] are not happy about it“, He told www.kyfilla.com after being thrashed 3:1 by new entrant Karela United at Ayinase in Match day 11 of the Ghana Premier League.
