Kumasi Asante Kotoko Administrative manager Mr Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi has asked Asante Kotoko fans to remain calm because there are talks with Richmond Lamptey to renew his current deal.
There were a lot of media speculations linking Richmond Lamptey away from Asante Kotoko after the expiration of his current deal which is few months to end.
But Mr Newton Dasoberi has assured Kotoko supporters to remain calm because there are talks ongoing with Lamptey’s entourage for contract renewal.
Speaking to Kessben media, Mr Dasoberi revealed
“There are negotiations going on between Richmond Lamptey and Asante Kotoko hopefully we will reach an agreement for him to renew”
Richmond Lamptey joined Kotoko in 2021 from Inter Allies and has since become integral part of Asante Kotoko team which even earn him a spot in Ghana Black stars squad to their last African cup of nations.
