Coach Annor Walker has labeled Hearts of Oak as not serious following comments which linked him to the Club recently and how he was approached.
The Phobians were reportedly tracking the newly signed Great Olympics gaffer but the deal couldn’t materialize.
“I never had conversations with Hearts of Oak. Nobody called me. People were saying I can’t do the job but I didn’t want to talk. This is the right time for me to speak out,” Annor Walker told Ghanasportspage.
He added: “It was Vincent Odotei who sent me a WhatsApp message requesting for my C.V and I did it. I called him after two weeks to check up but he told me they were having a meeting with the players.
“I didn’t hear from him again but I asked him later and he said they will get back to me. Up till date… My first conversation with Odotei was on 7th June till today.
“There’s no truth about whatever they were saying. I just don’t want to talk. We are all matured and you can’t expose someone. I haven’t written to Hearts that I want a job,”
“You can’t recruit players before appointing a head coach for a new season. They are not serious,” the veteran trainer concluded.
Walker spent the 2022/2023 football season with FC Samartex 1996, helping the topflight newbies to finish 10th on the league log.
The Black Galaxies gaffer has switched to Accra Great Olympics, reportedly penning a five year deal.
