Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey will be missing the country’s World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.
Ghana will play the two countries in the World Cup qualifiers in September this year without Thomas Partey who has sustained an ankle injury.[ads2]
Partey sustained the injury when Arsenal faced Chelsea in a preseason friendly game where they lost 2:1 to the reigning UEFA Champions League winners.
He is expected to recuperate fully at the end of August this year, which means he won’t be available for the two international matches.[ads3]
Aside missing out on international duties, the former Atletico Madrid star will miss Arsenal’s three opening games in the English Premier league including Chelsea and Manchester City.
