Three persons have sustained severe injuries in a near-fatal car accident on the Essipong-Sekondi road.
The accident occured at Ngyiresia, a town on the Essipong-Sekondi road on Wednesday evening.

According to an eyewitness, a truck loaded with gravels crashed with a saloon car with three passengers on board on the road, leading to the three sustaining the injuries.

“There was a faulty articulator truck on the road. It has been on the road for long, so any vehicle that reaches where the articulator is, has to slow down for other vehicles to pass before. But the saloon car was at the back of the articulator truck, awaiting others from the other side to pass until the truck loaded with gravels which was on a high speed crashed with the saloon car”, an eyewitness told Kyfilla.com.
The three have been rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital for medical attention.
