According to a report by Kumasi-based Pure FM, Asante Kotoko are interested in signing Medeama right-back Samuel Appiah and midfielder Richard Boadu.

The duo were spectacular for Medeama Sporting Club in the just cancelled 2019/20 league season which has propelled Asante Kotoko to chase for their signatures.[ads3]
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko are also reportedly in talks with Medeama Sporting Club to sign midfielder Justice Blay on permanent basis after his loan deal came to an end.
Asante Kotoko will be representing Ghana in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League while city rivals AshantiGold SC partake in the CAF Confederation Cup.
