Two unidentified persons have been confirmed dead in an accident at Dominase near Komenda Junction in the Central region on Saturday evening.

According to the Central Region PRO of the Ghana National Fire Service, Assistant Division Officer 1 Abdul Wasiu Hudu, the car burst a tyre, causing it to veer off the road into the bush.
Mr. Hudu was unable to confirm the exact number of passengers that sustained some degrees of injuries because they were rushed to hospital before the arrival of the fire personnel.

He indicated that, the fire personnel had it difficult retrieving the dead from the mangled mini bus.
He mentioned, there was a bee hive at where the vehicle fell, so personnel who initially went too close were attacked by the bees so they had to retreat.

Mr. Hudu continued that, they had to resort to spraying the bees with water to enable them retrieve the bodies and pull out the car.
Currently the injured passengers are attending to treatment at a yet to be known hospital in the Central region.
