Thirty-four people have been confirmed dead in fatal car with others seriously injured in a fatal car accident at Dompoase near Komenda in the Central Region.

As earlier reported by Kyfilla.com, two buses collided around midnight of Monday, which has resulted to the death of 34 passengers including a one-year old baby.
According to eyewitness, the accident involved two buses, one from Takoradi to Accra with the registration number GR 5704 – 18 and the other from Accra heading towards Takoradi with the registration number GN 3780-10.
The eyewitness explained that, the Takoradi bound bus tried doing overtaking and in an attempt by the opposite one to swerve, resulted in the accident.
The two drivers died instantly with one of them having his head completely chopped off with the rest of his body trapped in the mangled vehicle.

Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in Cape Coast and others are currently at the scene to ensure the road is cleared.
Kyfilla.com understands the injured passengers are battling for their lives at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital while the mutilated bodies of dead passengers have been conveyed to the morgue.
