Kumasi Asante Kotoko Head of Communications, Sarfo Duku (Esq) has disclossed that, striker Songne Yacouba has been declared fit by the team’s medical doctors.
The Burkinabe import is yet to feature for the Porcupine Warriors after their game against Al Hilal Omdurman in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Speaking to Nhyira FM in Kumasi, Sarfo Duku revealed that, the deadly goal poacher has been declared fit and he is expected to join his other teammates for training today.
” Songne Yacouba has finally been declared fit by the medical team of Asante Kotoko and he is available for selection if he fits into the coache’s tactics.
” Management expect him to start training today”, Lawyer Sarfo Duku revealed.
The 27- year old has been on the wanted lists of many clubs on the continent due to his spectacular performance in the CAF Confederation Cup with Zesco United opening negotiations with Asante Kotoko for the availability of the former Stade Malian forward.
Songne Yacouba managed to score two goals in the CAF Confederation Cup with five assists.
