Apollon Ladies Football Club’s Ghanaian trio of Olivia Anokye, Elshaadai Acheampong and Elizabeth Oppong will face off Portuguese side, Benefica in the second round of the Union of European Football Association’s Women’s Champions League.
UEFA conducted the draw for the second round of the tournament on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Nyon, Switzerland where 14 clubs were paired in the Champions Path for a place in the Group Phase.

Olivia Anokye who has already scored twice in first round qualifying stage will look to consolidate his tally in the double legged affair.

Elshaadai Acheampong and Elizabeth Oppong have had cameo appearances in the stages of the first round.
The first leg which will be hosted by Apollon Ladies will come off on October 10/11 before Benefica host the second leg on October 18/19.
