The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia is delighted about the progress of work ongoing at the Nyinahin Sports Complex.
Dr. Bawumia made this known when he joined the Youth and Sports Minister Isaac Kwame Asiamah on last weekend to inspect the 5000-seating capacity edifice in the Ashanti region.
According to the Vice President, the Nyinahin Sports Complex will be the biggest sports edifice in the Ashanti region after the Baba Yara Sports Stadium situated in Kumasi.

He indicated that, the edifice forms part of the government’s effort of reviving sports in the region and the country at large.
Hon. Asiamah on his part promised the residents of Nyinahin the early completion of the edifice and also the government readiness to help develop the community.

The Nyinahin Sports Complex when completed will boast of 5,000-seating capacity centre, with a FIFA standard football pitch, basketball court, volleyball court, handball pitch, gymnasium, Olympic standard tartan tracks, youth counselling centre, ICT centre, modern restaurant and a hostel facility.
