Former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan has gifted the honest taxi driver who returned a money a passenger left in his car on Friday, May 6, 2022.
Gyan, through his foundation gifted the taxi driver identified as Kwesi Ackon Gh¢10,000 for his heroic gesture.
Kwesi Ackon won the heart of many when he returned an amount of Gh¢8,400 to a fish monger who left the money after boarding his car on Friday at the Mallam Atta Market in Accra.
Since the video of his honesty popped up on social media, Kwesi Ackon has been receiving gifts from many well-to-do individuals in the country including the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
He was dashed an amount of Gh¢20,000.00 by the Vice President and the Chief Executive Officer of Salt Media, Ohene Kwame Frimpong who also gave him Gh¢7,800.
Kwesi Ackon is said to be a member of the Church of Pentecost.
