A boy in his twenties has been arrested by the police in Tanokrom, a suburb in Takoradi for stealing a government dustbin.

According to an eyewitness, the guy whose name is still not yet known, was caught by some residents of Tanokrom stealing a dustbin.

The eyewitness explained to Kyfilla.com that, “He was arrested with a dustbin in his wheel. When questioned, he claimed he bought it from someone at GH¢5 though he couldn’t tell the person who sold to him”.

It will be recalled that, for the past few months, people have been stealing government streets dustbins for scraps including those provided by Private Waste Companies.
