The Chief Executive Officer of Ghanaian division two outfit Cheetah FC, Abdul Haye Yartey has joined the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
The world has come to a standstill since the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease in Chinese city of Wuhan in late December 2019.
Globally, 1,859,011 cases have been confirmed with 438,236 recoveries while 114,979 deaths have been confirmed as of Monday, April 13, 2020.

Fifty-two (52) African countries have been affected with Ghana not spared at all.

Since recording its first case in March 12, 2020, Ghana has went ahead to record 566 cases with 8 deaths while only 4 people have recovered.
With the rate at which the case keep increasing each and every single day, the government of Ghana has placed some parts of Kumasi and Accra under lockdown as part of directives to mitigate the spread of the pandemic.

Most sports personalities and prominent personalities in the world has joined the fight against the disease, urging people to adhere to the preventive measures laid down by medical practitioners.
Abdul Haye Yartey who also double as the President of the Ghana Bodybuilding Association has become the latest sports personality to campaign against the pandemic.
In a video sighted by Kyfilla.com, the budding football administrator is urging Ghanaians in particular to adhere to the preventive measures to avoid the spread of the disease, cautioning Ghanaians to avoid social distancing, using of alcohol based hand sanitizers among others.
