Former Kotoko and Hearts of Oak Coach, Ernst Middendorp, who is currently the Head Coach of South Africian Club Kaizer Chiefs has joined the Ghana Rugby COVID-19 ” Stay safe, healthy and productive” Challenge .

The German, who is a big name personality in Ghana Football after managing the two most glamous clubs in Ghana ,thus Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the early 2000`s has joined a list of high profile personalities in educating the “Ghana Rugby Family & Friends” to show the world how they stay safe ,healthy and productive during the COVID-19 lockdown period.

The Challenge was initiated by the President and Board Chairman of Ghana Rugby, Mr Herbert Mensah after receiving a video from the President of the Ghana Olympic Committee ,Mr Ben Nunoo Mensah, in which he showed how he uses his own home as the gym.

In a video available to kyfilla.com, the experience German gaffer , Ernst Middendorp is heared saying
‘ it is a difficult time but that he has accepted the challenge and that there are so many things one cab do such as reading or writing.
‘ He says currently he is personally busy writing his own biography and hopes to have it done by the end of lockdown.
