Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Hearts of Oak have announced the signing of ace midfielder Sulley Muntari.
The former Inter Milan midfielder has joined the reigning Ghana Premier League champions until the end of the league season.
The 37-year old has joined the Phobians after weeks of training with the club for a possible move.[ads2]
The one-time UEFA Champions League winner has joined the Phobians and becomes the club’s third signing after defenders Konadu Yiadom and Dennis Korsah.
Muntari could make his debut for Hearts of Oak when they face city rivals Great Olympics on Sunday.[ads3]
The former AC Milan ace midfielder has played for nine different clubs since leaving boyhood club Liberty Professionals in 2001.
He started at Udinese and went on to play for giants Inter Milan and AC Milan. Muntari excelled at Portsmouth and had stints with Pescara, Deportivo La Coruna and Al-Ittihad Club in Saudi Arabia.[ads4]
Muntari has won seven trophies, including the Champions League, two Serie A titles and the English FA Cup.
