It was all smiles and joy as the member of Parliament for Kwesimintsim Hon. Joseph Mensah feted over 3000 constituents at the Kwesimintsim lorry park on Saturday.
The philanthropic gesture by the lawmaker was to celebrate the festive season with the aged women and children in his constituency and also give alms to the needy.
The attendees were fed with assorted foods like fufu with various kinds of soups, rice, banku with okro stew and soup as well as kenkey with drinks to quench their thirst.
Over forty cloths were donated to some of the aged women whilst over forty artisans were given sewing machines to start up their own businesses.
Speaking after the event, the member of Parliament used the opportunity to advised his constituents ahead of the upcoming general elections.
With Kwesimintsim rated as one of the areas for violence during elections, Hon. Joseph Mensah advised the constituents to vote peacefully on the election day to maintain peace and order.

Hon. Mensah also added that, he has been supporting most kids in his constituency by giving out scholarships for them to study at their various tertiary institutions and has also lobbied for most youths in his constituency to get employed and still doing same for others.
Some of the attendees expressed their profound gratitude to the Member of Parliament for having the aged women and children in the constituency at heart by organizing such a huge food bazaar for them.
