Wakaso has however revealed why he switched camp to Jiangsu Suning in China despite his impressive form for Alaves in the Spanish Laliga.
Most pundits of the game highlighted his move to China as monetary-wise and not football reasons since he became a transfer target for many clubs in Europe.

The former Granada midfielder said that,” it’s true that money was the reason why I joined Jiangsu Suning but they also play football”, he told Angel TV.
“Before my move to China, I sought for advice and yes money is why I moved to China.
“Supposed I retire with no money, people will say that I spent almost eight years in Laliga and I have achieved nothing, but I moved to China and you’re complaining. I had to go to China for the money because what am receiving in China is bigger than that of Spain.
