Hearts of Oak were succumbed to a painful 2:1 defeat to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the replay of the 2019 President Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi today.

Youngster Kofi Kordzi had the only goal for the Phobians from the spot when Kotoko defender Ampem Dacosta was judged to have handled the ball when tackling Kordzi in the penalty box.
Kofi Kordzi beautifully converted the spot kick to ensure that the Phobians get the lead in the 36th minute of the cagey encounter.

Despite conceding the opener, Kotoko came back strong to beat Hearts of Oak 2:1 courtesy Mohammed Alhassan own goal and Naby Keita’ stunner.
