The Chairman of the Western Region Blind Sports Union , Alex Morro is appealing to the cooperates institutions and individuals in the region to help him raise GHS 300 for his medicals ahead of the Africa Para-Cycling championship.
Alex Morro, the only athletes from the Western Region to participate in the much touted Africa Para-Cycling competition slated for December 7 this year, is appealing to the cooperates institutions and the well to do individuals in the region to support him raise enough money for his medicals ahead of the championship.
According to him, before given the green light to participate in the championship, he needs to obtain a license which will also permit him to partake in any international championship and by so doing, he has to undergo medicals which is GHS 300 before getting the license.

“I’m appealing to the good people of Western Region and Ghana to help me raise GHS 300 for my medicals ahead of the championship.
“Before I can compete in the championship, I need to get a license before and by so doing I have to go through medicals and it GHS 300’, he told Kwame Yeboah host of Sekondi based Radio Silver sports.
He however continued that he is ready to represent the Western Region and Ghana as a whole in the championship but currently needs financial support.
