The Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kwabena Okyere-Darko Mensah is making the trends on social media for allegedly debunking the kidnap of a nine-month old pregnant woman in Takoradi.
Residents in Takoradi woke up to a sad news of a 28-year old pregnant woman kidnapped on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Identified as Josephine Panyin Mensah, she is said to have been kidnapped around 5:00AM on the aforementioned date while going for a morning walk.
She has finally been released by the supposed kidnappers after days of effort by the security agencies in the region.[ads1]
But the Western Regional Minister, in an interview with Accra-based Kessben FM stated that the woman was not pregnant according to preliminary investigation by the National Intelligence Bureau.
Many have been wondering whether the Minister who double as the member of parliament of Takoradi really said that but the audio of the alleged interview has popped up on social media.
