Kojokrom based VP Phamily have been crowned champions of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly 25th anniversary Cup.
The four-team competition saw VP Phamily defeating STMA staff 4:3 on penalty shootouts after 1:1 regulation.
The eventual champions whipped Kweikuma 2:0 in their first game whiles Sekondi lost to STMA staff to book final spot.
The Kojokrom based representatives showed glimpses of winning the competition right from the unset due to spectacular performances from thelikes of Theophilus Nana Awortwe of Skyy FC, Accra Hearts of Oak target, Philip Flamini who ply his trade for Sekondi Hasaacas and Rail Stars Academy sensation Fred Cromwell.
After the competition, set of jersey, undisclosed amount and a giant trophy were presented to VP Family for winning the one day competition which was stage at the Sekondi Methodist Park on last Saturday 2nd March, 2019.
