One officer of the NVTTI has been shot dead during a ransacking exercise by unidentified armed assailants at Anaji around the Queen of Peace School in Takoradi.
The deceased was reported to have engage in a scuffle with the armed robbers but unfortunately he was shot dead.
According to Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson of Connect FM, the horrific incident happened during the wee hours of Saturday.
As at the time of reporting, none of the armed men have been arrested by the police who have started investigations to bring the delinquents before the law.
