Yemboa Nyimpa Charity Foundation known for their philantropical works have on Wednesday 6th March, 2019 donated to the Western regional branch of Rema-Ghana Rehabilitation Center located at Kejabil in Takoradi.
The exercise forms part of the Foundation’s objectives of helping the less privileged, needy and the aged in the society.
Speaking during the presentation exercise, Mathias Mensah also known as Kojofreestyle, the acting President of the Foundation insisted that the aim of the Foundation is to help the less privileged, needy as well as the aged in the society which culminated their decision of donating to the rehab center.
” Our main objective is to help the less privileged, poor and the needy in the society which culminated to our decision of donating this peanut to the center”, he said.
” We intend to do more for the center by embarking on a regular visitation as and when the need arises”.
Mr. Mark Kingstosh Oteng Ericson on behalf of the management of the rehab center expressed their profound gratitude, prayed for the Foundation and pleaded with other philantropical organizations to support the center just like what Yemboa Nyimpa Charity Foundation have done.
He however disclosed that, the rehab center was established in 1993 with current population of 19 (all boys) with the youngest among them to be eight years old.
Items donated includes bags of rice, packs of soft drinks, clothes, cooking oils, toiletries, washing detergents and an undisclosed amount.
