The Black Queens of Ghana lost 1-0 to Namibia in the second leg of the WAFCON Qualifiers.
The Black Queens in their charge to qualify for the upcoming Women’s edition of the AFCON defeated Namibia 3-1 in the first leg encounter with Doris Boaduwaa scoring a brace and captain Portia Boakye scoring the other helping them to qualify 3-2 on aggregate.
This defeat is the first ever for Nora Hauplte’s team.Under Nora Huptle’s leadership, the Black Queens of Ghana have amassed an incredible winning streak, conceding just two goals in 11 games all against Namibia.
The team is has now booked a spot in Women’s AFCON, which will be hosted by Morocco.
