Ghana forward, Kamaldeen Sulemana put up an amazing performance for Southampton when they hosted Liverpool at the St Mary’s Park on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
The 21-year old netted twice to help Southampton to draw 4:4 against Liverpool in the last day of the 2022/23 English Premier League.
Portuguese star Diego Jota shot the visitors to the lead as early as the 10th minute before Roberto Firmino made it double four minutes after the opener.
In the 19th minute, Southampton reduced the tally with a sumptuous goal from James Ward-Prowse before Kamaldeen Sulemana restored the parity in the 28th minute.
It was the debut goal for the Ghanaian winger who joined Southampton in February, 2023 after excelling at French ligue I outfit Rennes.
Two minutes after the recess, Kamaldeen Sulemana made it 3:2 for Southampton before Adam Armstrong doubled the deficit in the 64th minute of the crucial encounter.
Unfortunately for Southampton, Cody Gakpo and Diego Jota snatched that parity for Liverpool to end the game in four-all stalemate.
