Chairman of Asante Kotoko supporters body National Circles Council (NCC), Christopher Damenya has declared their unwavering supports to the Executive Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei, despite a reported impasse between the supporters and the leadership of the club.
It was in the local media that, the leadership of the supporters body and the management are at loggerheads which has brought a huge gap between the two.

But Christopher Damenya has come out to declare their full support to the management of the Ghana Premier League giant including the Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei.

“At no point should our personal aspirations override that of the club.
“It is extremely important to note that the NCC as an organ of Kotoko will forever support Dr. Kwame Kyei so far as he remains the Executive Chairman of our dear club.

“Our main focus as supporters body is to tirelessly work to see the progress of the club, and not to bring any administration down. We are not a political tool”, said Damenya.
Meanwhile the leadership of the supporters body of Kotoko will be meeting the management on Wednesday to discuss the way forward of the club and solve the recent impasse.
