Brother to missing Ghanaian musician Castro, Kwame Afuakwa has revealed that the family of the artiste have not heard from Asamoah Gyan since November 2014.
Castro and Asamoah Gyan were very good friends of which he featured the Ghana’s leading topscorer on some couple of songs which were hits.

Castro got missing on July 6, 2014 while cruising with Asamoah Gyan and couple of other people at the Ada river.
Six years down the lane since the Ghanaian hiplife artiste went missing, brother to Castro, Kwame Afuakwa has disclosed that, the family have not heard from Asamoah Gyan since November 2014.
According to Kwame Afuakwa, when the incident happened in July 6, 2014, Asamoah Gyan, his brother and manager visited the family in November 2014 in Takoradi of the Western Region where the footballer gave the father and mother of Castro $1000 each and later called and sent GH¢2,000 and since then have not heard from Asamoah Gyan again.

Speaking to Yoofi Eyeson on Takoradi-based Spice FM, Afuakwa said he doesn’t begrudge Asamoah Gyan because he also has family and other matters to attend to.
“After the incident, himself [Asamoah Gyan], his brother and manager visited the family and gave my mum and Dad $1,000 each. He later called me and sent ¢2,000 to me and I transferred it to my mother and that was November 2014. Since then we have not heard from Asamoah Gyan again.

“Personality, I don’t begrudge him [Asamoah Gyan] because he has a family and other matters to attend to but my mother is okay now because she is engaging in some businesses to cater for herself. Myself, other artistes have been supporting since the incident”, Kwame Afuakwa said on Spice FM.
