The Western Regional Communication Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Richard Kirk-Mensah has urged the party faithfuls to be united of they want to return to power again.
According Mr. Kirk-Mensah, if the NDC is united, there is no way they will lose an election to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
As part of his message to the party faithfuls as they celebrate their 29th anniversary, Richard Kirk-Mensah entreated the members of the party to put the past behind them and remain focused ahead of the 2024 general elections.
A message from the hardworking and the eloquent Western Regional communication officer of the biggest opposition party in the country reads, “Special anniversary greetings to all dedicated, committed and loyal members Especially the founding fathers. Former president Mahama, former appointees, former and current branch, constituency, regional and national executives, not forgetting the late founder JJ Rawlings , late president mills, late veep Amissah Arthur and all the faithful departed”
“Let us put the bad yesterday behind us and let it guide us not repeat that mistakes. Let us forgive one another and build a stronger party from the branch level to national. If we become more united there is no way we loose any elections”
“I repeat let us forget the agonies of the past especially when we had power. We all will make sure we don’t neglect the grassroots again. Let us continue to educate members on the ideals of the party and that is the only we can defeat the corrupt, nepotistic NPP.
